I made cookies last night but I didn’t like them very much. They were good but only in a “My other option is to eat nothing” kind of way. I was disappointed because the recipe I found sounded good and was highly regarded by the other reviewers on the recipe site. I think the reason they didn’t turn out as well as they could have is that I didn’t have the proper ingredients and ended up having to substitute brown sugar for white sugar. The recipe called for a certain amount of brown and a certain amount of white. We only had sugar cane crystals which, apparently, is completely different from white sugar so Jenny suggested putting more brown sugar in.
